Kincardine Launches Beach Blazers Program 05/17/2024 Kincardine has launched the Beach Blazers Volunteer Program. Similar to the Trail Blazers program last fall, Beach Blazers walk Station Beach during peak beach times acting as ambassadors and an extra set of eyes for the municipality.... Northern Bruce Peninsula Not Supportive Of Proposed Cell Tower 05/15/2024 Northern Bruce Peninsula is not on board with a proposed cell tower. Council approved taking the stance of non-concurrence for the proposed cell tower at 75 Lindsay Road 40 during a meeting on May 13. Grey Bruce Home Listings Jumped In April 05/13/2024 The number of homes hitting the market in Grey Bruce jumped last month. And the Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound says average home prices ticked higher as well to over $658,000. Stratford-Bruce Peninsula Unemployment Rate Fell To 3.5% In April 06/10/2024 The regional unemployment rate in the area that includes Bruce and Grey counties fell to 3.5 per cent in April, It’s the lowest jobless number for the Stratford-Bruce Peninsula region in nearly two years. The Four County Labour Market Planning Board says there were more than 3,200 new full-time positions created in the region last month, partially offset by the loss of 1,200 part-time jobs....
